or Non-Infringement Search
An Infringement or Non-Infringement Search is used to find patents with claims
that may read on your prospective product or service. Our experienced
search professionals conduct a search to find relevant patents, patent
publications and then consider the claims of those patents for inclusion
in the search report. We typically search US patents and published patent
applications, but upon your request, we can enlarge the scope of the
search for patents and published patent applications in foreign jurisdictions.
Further, we have many search professionals fluent in foreign languages
for searching patent references lacking English translations.
Our search professionals select patents/applications from these search
results and specify claims from the references to highlight their relevance
in the search report. In addition, search professionals can provide
an analysis of the search by breaking the product or method down into
elements and then mapping the claims of the patents/applications to
those elements.
Typically, Infringement or Non-Infringement Searches are completed
within 4-5 business days and cost between $1500 and $1800, plus $100
