If errors are identified (e.g., typographical, clerical, etc.) in the issued patent, a Cardinal paralegal prepares a Patent Proofreading Form citing applicant and examiner errors, and, when applicable, prepares a Certificate of Correction citing examiner errors only.

If no errors are identified in the issued patent, the legal assistant notifies the client accordingly.
