Senior Developer

Position Description:
The Senior Developer role is focused on new and continuing application development and support projects. 

Current products in development include websites and ASP applications.  We work to foster an environment that promotes growth, appreciates diversity of thought, and provides continuous opportunities for development.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing and delivering solutions
  • Leading multiple application development projects
  • Serving as a technical expert supporting developers, management , and clients
  • Planning and overseeing implementation of each application's architecture
  • Mentoring developers
  • Suggesting alternative technical solutions to meet company and client requirements more efficiently, and/or with greater reusability, and / or longer life.
  • Defining, communicating and enforcing coding standards.
  • Assessing development staff requirements; hiring, and team building as needed

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree; Computer Science or related discipline preferred but not required
  • Expert knowledge of .NET, C#, SQL Server 2008, and particularly ASP.NET
  • Strong skills in javascript and CSS a large plus
  • Knowledge and experienced implementation of Design Patterns and best practices
  • Ability to work with abstractions and concrete code with equal facility
  • Experience in Application Service Provider
  • Experience in ACT! by Sage Premium a plus
