Brian brings extensive experience in a wide range of intellectual property matters to his position at Cardinal. He has prepared and prosecuted numerous patent applications in fields including business methods, software, electronics, electromechanical and telecommunications systems. He has also conducted validity analyses and opinion preparation in the same. Currently, Brian directs Cardinal's talented staff of search professionals and analysts while also providing consultation on a variety of IP matters.

Before joining Cardinal, Brian was a patent examiner at the U. S. Patent and Trademark Office. His major responsibilities included examining and prosecuting patent applications in the software technologies of database and file management. Additionally, Brian was responsible for training new patent examiners.

Brian is registered to practice before the U. S. Patent and Trademark Office.
