Ronald comes to Cardinal with several years of specialized intellectual property experience, ranging from trade secrets to patents to technology development and delivery. His background also includes negotiation of complex international licensing and technology transfer agreements. In addition to his intellectual property background, Ronald has held senior engineering positions. His legal, technical, and business expertise makes him a stand out project manager at Cardinal.

Prior to joining Cardinal, Ronald was a practicing attorney specializing in intellectual property. In this role, he conducted patent searches as well as prepared and prosecuted patent applications in the chemical, mechanical, electrical, computer and business method areas. His background also includes the positions of Outside Patent Support Counsel and Intellectual Property Law Clerk at International Truck & Engine Corp, and before that he held various positions at UOP, LLC.

Ronald earned his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School, a M.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Washington, and a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois.

Ronald is a patent attorney, admitted in Illinois and registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Ronald is also a registered professional engineer in Illinois.
