Beverly comes to Cardinal with extensive knowledge
of patent searches. In addition, she has written opinions in all
biotechnology areas, including genetic sequences, pharmaceuticals,
medical devices, and disease treatments. As Cardinal's Project
Manager, she has a keen sense of product and process.
Prior to joining Cardinal, Beverly worked as a products liability attorney with Sidley Austin. She also has experience compiling patent portfolios and reviewing PCT applications for the Patent and Trademark Office. In addition, she worked at Kramer, Levin, Naftalis & Frankel doing patent work in their IP department. Beverly earned her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law, with an emphasis in patent law. She also holds a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Michigan. Beverly has been admitted to the Illinois State Bar and is a member of the American Bar Association. |
